CV Attorneys is a general practice law firm situated in the picturesque town of Somerset West. CV Attorneys is headed up by Christo Veldsman who has in excess of 15 years commercial and civil litigation and criminal law experience. Although we are general practitioners, we have a special interest in corporate work, with an emphasis on company formation and registration locally, in Mauritius and East Africa. We have vast experience in drafting corporate agreements such as shareholders agreements, intellectual property agreements, restraint of trade, employment contracts, sale agreements, terms and conditions and IT and software related agreements. On the litigation and civil law front, we are able to assist with debt collection for sectional title administrators, doctors and businesses, evictions, instituting and defending civil claims, divorces, custody and maintenance matters, labour law, drafting of wills and attending to the reporting and winding-up of estates. Although we are not conveyancers, we are able to refer our clients to specialists in the field. We are also available 24 hours a day for emergencies, including after hour bail applications, domestic violence interdicts and criminal matters.
