Our mission
Legal help should be easy to find, easy to evaluate, and free to explore. Justibly indexes every practising attorney on the South African Legal Practice Council register, adds location, practice-area and contact detail, and provides a free Q&A forum where the public can ask legal questions and get answers from real attorneys. Our goal is to make the first step toward legal advice unambiguous and honest - without pushing you toward the loudest paid advertiser.
Where our data comes from
Attorney listings are sourced from the public LPC register, which is the statutory body governing legal practice in South Africa. We refresh the register regularly and remove practitioners who are struck off or suspended. We do not buy lists, scrape social media, or accept payment in exchange for listing an attorney.
When an attorney claims their profile on Justibly, they can add a bio, photograph, languages, practice specialisations and a direct contact route. Claimed data sits on top of the public LPC data - which always remains visible for comparison.
How we stay impartial
- No pay-to-rank. Our Trust Score formula is applied identically to every attorney. Premium subscriptions unlock profile features, not rank.
- LPC disclosures remain visible. Disciplinary findings, inactive status and practice restrictions show on the profile even if the attorney pays for a subscription.
- User reviews are unedited. We moderate for the Community Guidelines - not for flattery.
How we make money
Justibly is free for the public. Attorneys and firms pay an optional subscription to unlock premium profile features: online booking, a lead inbox, featured placement in paid slots, and analytics. Advertisements and sponsored placements are always clearly labelled. Basic profiles are free forever.
Who we're not
Justibly is not the Legal Practice Council, not a law firm, and not a substitute for legal advice. We do not represent clients or attorneys in disputes. If you need a complaint investigated, contact the LPC directly at lpc.org.za.
