About Salome

Salomé joined Millers Inc. in 1989 and has been a director in the Conveyancing Department since 1992. She was inspired to undertake a career in property law because contract law is her favourite discipline. In her early career, Salomé practised as a litigation attorney where she concentrated inter alia on property law and contract law disputes. This gave her a broader perspective in putting property transactions together and effectively solving disputes that arose to prevent them from developing into litigation matters. Over the years Salomé developed her practice management skills and played an important role in the management of the firm. She took over the role as Managing Director in April 2019. As someone who loves people, Salomé's life philosophy is to practice reasonableness. She strives to be fair and sensible, and to exercise good judgement in her relationships with clients and colleagues. Salomé has acted as chairperson for various bodies, including a body corporate, a church council, a Business and Professional Womens' Club, a FAMSA committee and as ladies’ captain of the George Golf Club. As a keen hiker, Salomé climbed many mountains over the years and in 2015 she completed the Eden to Addo hike of 19 days and 400 kilometres from Knysna to the Addo Elephant Park. She also plays golf in her spare time.
