About Yossi

Yossi is is the Head of our Insurance Law and Financial Services Division. He has previously worked as In-House legal counsel for Metropolitan and Old Mutual. Yossi was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa in November 2000 and is also an admitted solicitor (lawyer) of the Supreme Court in New South Wales, Australia. He provides a legal advice and litigation services to Financial Services Providers, Linked Investment Services Providers, Collective Investment Schemes, independent financial advisors and financial services call centres. He also represents clients at the Long – Term Insurance Ombudsman, the Short –Term Insurance Ombudsman, the FAIS Ombudsman and the Pension Funds Adjudicator. He further has experience in commercial law, trusts, financial services law, compliance, mediation and civil litigation. His experience spans from being a practicing attorney to working in roles such as In – House Legal Counsel and Compliance Manager at Financial Services Providers that are listed on the Johannesburg stock exchange. His mediation experience was gained while mediating between the Road Accident Fund and claimant attorneys.
