About Leana

After completing her LLB degree from the University of Stellenbosch in April 2006, Leana joined the School for Legal Practice at the University of Cape Town. She was admitted as Attorney and Conveyancer during 2007. Leana has gained extensive experience in the fields of Conveyancing and Property Deal Structuring, Commercial Agreements, Family Law Matters, and Trusts and Estate Planning and Administration over the years. She is passionate about mediation, and has assisted many couples with divorce matters all over the Western Cape. She started the firm on 1 July 2010, now situated centrally and in the Tyger Waterfront area, located between many well known businesses and close to all the suburbs of Cape Town. Leana holds a LLM Degree in Commercial Law, and is registered with FAMAC as accredited Mediator. She is studying psychology part-time and insists that with any Family Law matter, the well being of children, are prioritised. She follows a logical, responsible and solution oriented approach, and is adamant that clients should not litigate, when they could rather mediate.
