About Joycelyn
Joycelyn Harmse obtained her LL.B degree at the University of the Western Cape. After which she completed her articles specialising in general litigation and Personal Injury law and was Admitted as an attorney in 2010. From March 20212 – June 2015 she practiced for her own account focusing only on personal injury claims and in July 2015 she was offered an opportunity to head up the personal injury and motor vehicle accidents department at a law firm in Claremont. In March 2021 she decided to venture on her own as Hassen-Harmse Attorneys, and in September 2023 partnered with Bjorn Harmse. Dedicated to continued education, Joycelyn embraces the opportunity to deepen her understanding and knowledge of the law. As a mentor and advisor, she is passionate about cultivating and developing talent, and sharing her knowledge and skills with others.
