Christelle obtained her LLB from UNISA in 2016 and began her articles at LLA Attorneys the same year, specializing in medical (clinical) negligence litigation and personal injury matters. She completed her Practical Legal Training in 2017 and was admitted as an attorney with right of appearance in the High Court in June 2018. During her tenure at LLA, Christelle refined her expertise in litigation and claims negotiation against both the State and private insurers. Her dedication and skill saw her rise through the ranks, from a professional assistant to director, achieving this milestone precisely five years after her admission to the legal profession. In 2025, seeking to expand her focus, Christelle joined Shalene Schreuder Attorneys Inc as a senior associate, where she now specializes in trusts, curatorships, and estate-related litigation, with a keen focus on High Court matters. She brings her extensive litigation experience to the firm’s focus on curatorship, estate and trusts disputes, and all other litigation related to deceased estates. Shalene Schreuder Attorneys Inc provide comprehensive legal support for complex estate matters, with a dedicated litigation department and a fully-fledged conveyancing practice to facilitate seamless estate transfers. While the firm primarily operates on referrals, we carefully assess each new matter on its merits before accepting a mandate.
