Anya Beth George

About Anya

Anya is a Directorat Van der Spuy & Partners in our Commercial Department. She commenced her articles at Van der Spuy & Partners in 2016 and was admitted as an attorney in 2018. Anya matriculated from Parel Vallei High School in Somerset West and went on to study at Stellenbosch University where she obtained a BA degree in law and philosophy, and an LL.B. During her time at university, she was actively involved in Serruria Ladies’ Residence as a member of various committees and served on their disciplinary hearing committee. Anya also sang for the world renowned Stellenbosch University Choir. During the final year of her LL.B degree, Anya served as an assistant at the South African Research Chair in property law where she gained valuable insight and knowledge in the area of property law. Anya assists clients with commercial transactions and is gaining knowledge in the areas of commercial contract drafting and conveyancing related work.
