Peter is a lead partner in the construction law arena. He has practised as an admitted attorney in South Africa since 2012 and has extensive litigation and dispute resolution experience. Through his career he has become an industry leader in construction and procurement dispute resolution, both in litigation and alternate dispute resolution forums. Whilst having broad based commercial litigation experience, his expertise lies in the construction and engineering arena. He has advised and dealt with disputes relating to all manner of construction and engineering projects throughout Africa. He has assisted and acts for Developers; Consultants; Contractors; Sub-contractors; and Suppliers alike. He also specialises in procurement law and frequently attends to tender appeals. As a result of this expertise Peter frequently provides presentations to the Master Builders Association; the Association of Quantity Surveyors; the Association of Architects; and is a recurring member of the Joint Building Contract Drafting Committee. He has also become one of the most widely recognized lawyers dealing with ongoing challenges of business forums and other site disruptions, as experienced by the built environment industry.
