About Jennifer

Jennifer graduated from the University of Stellenbosch with a Bachelor of Arts (International Studies) majoring in Political Science and History. She continued her studies at UKZN, where she obtained her LLB in 2019. Jennifer completed her first year of articles at a Durban-based firm, where she gained experience in various fields of law, including Litigation, Banking and Insolvency and Family law. She joined Cox Yeats in 2021 and served the remainder of her articles as part of the Insolvency and Business Rescue Team in Durban. She became an associate in September 2022, having been admitted as a Legal Practitioner of the High Court and enrolled as an attorney. Jennifer’s primary area of practice is commercial litigation. She has acquired substantial exposure and practice in Insolvency and Business Rescue proceedings, public procurement processes, insurance litigation and public liability claims, construction industry-related claims, and specialised debt recovery proceedings in terms of insolvency, company, credit and insurance laws.
