About Emili

Emili Souris has over 30 years of experience in property law and is the practice area leader of our property department. She has worked in all aspects of property law, but now focuses on properties securities law, representing most of South Africa’s major banks. She acts for banks and other lending organisations in the registration of complex commercial bonds, participation bonds, debt and trade securities including special and notarial bonds. Emili is a highly recognised corporate bond specialist and has assisted banks and other lenders in protecting their interests in respect of some of the biggest property developments and corporate lending transactions.
