Cristy joined Knowles Husain Lindsay in 2013 and was appointed as a director in 2021. Her practice area is corporate and commercial litigation, with additional expertise in dispute resolution within the mining and medical scheme industries. She has represented clients in matters before the Constitutional Court, various South African Superior Courts, and a foreign court, as well as before the Council for Medical Schemes, the Competition Tribunal and the Press Council. She has also assisted clients with matters involving the South African Heritage Resources Agency and the South African Human Rights Commission.
