About Teresa

Teresa obtained her LLB degree from the University of Pretoria in 2003 and is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society. After a brief period as a professor’s assistant at UP, Teresa temporarily left the profession to pursue her other passion in life, horses. After obtaining a Diploma in Equine Science from the Tshwane University of Technology, she worked in the equine industry for approximately seven years before returning to law in 2013 and completing her articles in general practice. Thereafter, she found her inspiration in the legal field at the cost consulting firms of Neels Schutte Attorneys, Vorster Jonker Attorneys and Tani Cloete Attorneys before joining MacRobert in November 2018 to specialise in the field of legal costs. Teresa is an admitted attorney with right of appearance in the High Court.
