About Gareth

Gareth is an admitted Attorney (1996) and Conveyancer (2002), and is currently a Senior Associate in the Property Law Department at Stegmanns Incorporated. Gareth has extensive experience in the fields of corporate, commercial and property law; and is a member of the following property committees: - South African Property Owners Association (SAPOA) Gauteng (Chairman); - SAPOA National Council and Legal Committee. - Pretoria Attorneys Association (PAA) Property Committee - Executive Committee of the PAA; - Committee of the Gauteng Attorneys Association (GAA); - Property Committee of the Law Society (LSNP) (past member) - Past representative of the legal profession on the Gauteng Interdepartmental Stakeholders Engagement Committee (GISEC). - recently appointed to the Sectional Titles Regulation Board by the Minister. Gareth has written a vast number of articles and was a regular guest on “Ask the Property Experts” on Business Day TV. He frequently speaks at property events and is a presenter at several Property Training Events. In the areas of corporate and commercial law, Gareth has served on the Law Society’s Company Law Committee and he was appointed to the SIRDAR Corporate Governance Panel. He is a member of the Institute of Directors of South Africa; is a Director of various companies; and is the Independent Trustee on numerous Trusts.
