After matriculating with merit from Ratshego High School, Temba in 2001, Dimakatso Antonio Ledwaba ("Antonio") enrolled at the University of Pretoria to study for an LLB degree. In 2005, Antonio completed this LLB degree at the University of Pretoria with 35 distinctions. Thereafter, Antonio completed a compulsory course for candidate attorneys by Legal Education & Development (L.E.A.D.), a division of the Law Society of South Africa as well as his Articles of Clerkship at Shapiro & Shapiro Inc, being the former firm of Aubrey Shapiro, his partner and co-director. On 29 October 2007, Antonio was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa, whereafter he stayed on as a Professional Assistant at Shapiro & Shapiro Inc. Antonio has gained a tremendous amount of experience in general litigation, specialising in Divorce, Family Law, Maintenance and Domestic Violence matters. On 1 November 2013, Antonio and Aubrey Shapiro teamed up with one another to form a new, dynamic and exciting new practice, specialising in Divorce and Family Law and known as Shapiro & Ledwaba Inc. Antonio is currently a director and shareholder of Shapiro & Ledwaba Inc.
