Odete is a director at Pagel Schulenburg, with experience in a diverse range of legal spheres including Commercial Law, Consumer Protection Law, Data Protection Law, Trust Law and Labour Law. Odete is proficient in legal research and drafting and utilises these skills towards producing legal opinions for a broad range of clients. Her drafting experience further includes, the drafting of wills, trust deeds, privacy policies and other workplace policies. Odete completed her Master of Laws Degree in 2017, wherein she majored in Cyber Law and Access to Information and Privacy Law. During the course of her Master’s degree, Odete dealt extensively with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) as well as the developments and laws applicable to social media usage, drone (UAV) usage, electronic transactions, consumer protection, defamation, evidence, and electronic communications.
