Carina studied at the University of Pretoria and obtained her LL.B degree in 1993 and completed her articles of clerkship at De Klerk Vermaak & Partners in Vereeniging. She was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 1996 and stayed on at the firm until 2001, where her main focus was on general litigation. With the move to Pretoria she changed focus to conveyancing and was admitted as a conveyancer of the High Court of South Africa in 2001. She has been with Cilliers & Reynders inc. since 2002, starting up the firms's Conveyancing Department. In 2003 Carina became a director at the firm and currently heads the Conveyancing Department. Amongst other successes, her department has been nominated one of the top conveyancing firms for the past 5 years by one of the top performing financial institutions. Cilliers & Reynders inc. is also on the panel of all the major banks. The specialised services rendered by this department include registration of first bonds, further bonds, building bonds, switches and bond cancellations; advise clients on property sales and purchases; registration of transfers, subdivisions, consolidations and sectional titles; township establishment and opening of sectional title schemes; drafting of sale agreements and lease agreements and drafting of notarial tie agreements and servitudes.
